About CommsCheck

Good communication shouldn't come down to who argues hardest in the room.

CommsCheck gives communications teams an outside read on their work before the budget, the timeline, and their own credibility are already committed.

Most teams make their biggest calls the same way. Someone senior weighs in, the room nods, and the work moves forward. That holds up right until someone asks why. Why this story, why this spend, why this version instead of the one you killed.

CommsCheck scores the work against a fixed standard, so the call to advance, fix, or hold has something real behind it instead of the loudest opinion in the meeting.

Our standard

Every score gets a human read.

AI does the first pass, which is how the work scales. Our credentialed comms team reviews the result before it reaches you, catches what the model got wrong, and signs off. Nothing leaves the system on the strength of a generated score alone.

That review step is the whole reason a CommsCheck result carries weight in a room instead of reading like something anyone could have prompted on their own. The people doing the reviewing come out of broadcast journalism and professional video production, where deciding what was ready to air, on deadline, was the entire job.

Fred Veinfurt

Founder & CEO

Better communication shouldn't come down to who argues hardest in the room.

Fred Veinfurt has spent his career deciding what's ready to go: which story holds up, which message is right, which content earns the budget behind it. He learned to make those calls in places where getting it wrong was public, from live television to the executive interview chair. That work has put him on every side of the review. He's been the journalist chasing the story, the producer running the crew, the researcher studying how audiences actually respond, and the person in the room when leadership decides what goes out the door. Most people in communications only ever see one or two of those angles. Fred has worked all of them, which is how he spotted the gap CommsCheck was built to close. He started the company after watching good communications teams make high-stakes calls the same way he used to, on instinct and on whoever in the room sounded most certain. Instinct is fine once you've put in the thousands of hours to earn it. It's a shaky thing to lean on when you're defending a decision to your CMO. CommsCheck takes that hard-won judgment and turns it into a standard a team can apply the same way every time, before the money and the credibility are already spent.

The company

FG4 Creative, LLC

CommsCheck is built and run by the team at FG4 Creative, a studio based in Mendota Heights, Minnesota that works where storytelling and communications strategy meet. The platform is the team's primary focus, not a project on the side.

The belief underneath it is simple. The best communications decisions happen before production starts, not after the budget is gone. CommsCheck is the team putting that belief into a tool other people can actually use.
